Holiday Tradition: Downtown Tree Lighting

Every year Kaila's girl scout troop helps downtown at the annual tree lighting ceremony. There is Santa's arrival in the fire truck, Christmas crafts to make, milk and cookies to hand out to the little ones, and lots of caroling. There's also the street fair and we love all the food booths!

The cadette girl scouts love Lena because she's so little.

Nani and her girlfriend being cute and goofy! They have been friends since preschool and sometimes see each other 7 days a week but never tire of one another. The beauty of friendship!

The tree is ready for the first lights.

Countdown 10 ... 9 ... 8 ... then ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... lights!

Enjoying the street fair with friends.

A fun night and a great way to kick off the holiday season!
