Winning Scrap Stuff Equals I NEED to Scrap!

The box came a month or so ago and I can't believe I just opened it now. With Girl Scout cookie sales, end of school year activities, family weekends and a busy work schedule life just didn't leave time for "fun" stuff.



But check out this whole stash. I love it all!!! It's so girly and pretty.

I'm so lucky to have won this great Doodlebug Designs pack from Elizabeth, a favorite blogger of mine. I love her scrap style ... it's simple but embellished at the same time and I think the craftiness is so perfect ... not over the top artsy since I just can't do "messy art style" with my A-type banker self.

I know I haven't blogged in awhile. Just haven't found time to scrap or sit at my computer lately. I have, however, been keeping up with my blogs in my google reader.



And ... it pays off with a prize ... Jennie Claire jewelry. I have a new fashion blogger to thank for this ... Fabulously Average. Joanne says she is an East Coast girl in living on the West Coast and I love her casual, classic and trendy style. Love her "average" take on fashion because it's so wearable and fun!

My prize was from Jennie Claire. Her work is so dainty and pretty and classic. I picked out these necklaces and can see me wearing them with everything this summer. I love the vintage style that's simple and classic!

I won! Time to start training ...

... Ella Publishing is a great inspiration for scrapbooking and photography. I am (sort of) doing their 12 for 2012 where I take 12 pictures on the 12th of every month this year 2012. Every month there's a theme and you only have to commit one day a month. I've taken all my pics, just haven't gotten around to scrapping them and blogging it yet. Oooops!

But this Spring Training class is exciting. I'm hoping it will jump start my weekend scrapbooking into summer and beyond ... maybe all the way to Survivor Crop in April. I miss my late nights with girlfriends, I miss unleashing my creative spirit, I miss remembering all the "fun times".

I'm so excited that I won! Rebecca Cooper is a great photographer, scrapbooker, crafter and mom. I get so many ideas from her. This is also my 3rd time winning something from her blog. Can you believe it?!? What are the odds? I've been reading her blog for years ... winning prizes is not the reason but wow, how fun is this! Yay!!!
